TRIPHALA

Triphala (also pronounced Trifla and Triphala) is an Ayurvedic herbal medicine for healing and cleansing the body, known in India since ancient times. Triphala is produced in medicinal forms of powder (Churna), as well as in tablet form.

The amazing medicinal properties of Triphala powder are due to the dried fruits of the myrobalan family that are part of it. Triphala has a pronounced ability to cleanse the body of toxins and rejuvenate tissues. The effect of using Triphala means you feel from the very beginning of the application. Probably, there is no such disease when Triphala would not help. Triphala not only gradually cleanses the intestines of all possible toxins but also increases the digestive fire. Unlike other laxatives, it has no side effects. Taking the composition of Triphala for a long time in moderate doses and following a diet that eliminates ama (toxins), you can get the same results as using stronger methods.

For thousands of years, Ayurveda has paid great attention to prolonging longevity and rejuvenating the body. One of the eight sections of this ancient science of health preservation, called “Rasayana”, tells about a large number of methods of purification, rejuvenation, and restoration of the body, as well as about Rasayana-remedies – medicinal forms through which you can gain longevity, increase vitality, develop clarity of mind and prolong youth.

The ancient Indian sacred text “Charaka Samhita” says this about Triphala: “One who takes Triphala for a year will get rid of all diseases and live to be a hundred years old.”

The taste of Triphala is slightly astringent and spicy, reaching the greatest manifestation when using the drug with milk. Triphala is a corrector of the balance of internal forces of the body, helps a person to cope with stress, improves vision, cleanses the blood, normalizes the cerebral blood supply. The active ingredients of the powder (Churna) composition are three dried fruits of Amalaki, Haritaki, and Babhitaki taken in the same proportion. The peculiarity of the fruits of Amalaki and haritaki is that they have five flavors out of six possible, which gives these plants the title of “kings of medicinal plants”. It is thanks to this that they are able to regulate the balance of the internal components of the body and treat most diseases.
