Consultation with Ayurvedic Practitioner An Ayurvedic Consultation is a thorough evaluation of your body’s overall health – your health history, temperament, attitude, the tendency for recurrent sickness, and your lifestyle. “The Ayurvedic Practitioner” will use some Ayurvedic techniques such as pulse diagnosis and a tongue/eye exam. The results of the assessment will help to determine the best preventive and corrective course of action to take, based on the principles of Ayurveda. Possible recommendations to improve your health and restore balance in your body can include but are not limited to changes in diet, adopting an exercise/yoga program, the use of herbs, and various therapeutic Ayurveda treatments.

ABHYANGA MASSAGE
Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic procedure for massaging the entire body from head to toe with herbal oils. There are many varieties of classically prepared herbal oils that are used for balancing specific doshas and many health conditions. Traditionally, the base oil is either sesame, castor, or coconut. Abhyanga is a part of the Dinacharya daily regimen that is explained in the classical Ayurvedic textbook on ways to maintain strong health and well-being. Vata is the king of the doshas and is responsible for all the body’s energy, movement, and nerve impulses, which manifests as breath, circulation, elimination, and the flow of thoughts. In comparison, the other two doshas, pitta, and Kapha have much less of an impact. Pitta, Kapha, dhatus (body tissues), malas (metabolic waste), and whatever else is present in the body is ineffective without the movement instilled by Vata dosha. Vata dosha is the energy behind all movement for which the body functions. Abhyanga is the treatment that balances Vata dosha. The qualities of Vata dosha are dry and active and oil is the best remedy for balancing these two qualities.

SHIRODHARA AND JALADHARA
TRADITIONAL SHIRODHARA
Thin threads of warmed oil, decoction, are poured over the forehead and scalp. Shirodhara relaxes and calms the mind, balances the nervous system, relieves stress, quiets the senses, and improves mental clarity. Shirodhara improves the body’s healing ability. This process reduces dry scalp and adds luster and sheen to the hair.

MODERN SHIRODHARA & JALADHARA
Jaladhara (water) or oil treatments can be used by anyone. Children are welcome. For Jaladhara we use structured healing water saturated with healing minerals and crystals. In addition, we heal water with special music, pranic energy, and healing Mantras (Prayers). Jaladhara and Shirodhara helps to overcome stress and its negative effects on both body and mind. It helps to relieve insomnia, stress, tension, anxiety, anger, chronic headaches, hypertension, asthma, or any psychosomatic disease and improves vitality. BASTI
KATI (BACK) BASTI
Kati Basti is a Traditional Ayurvedic Therapy, where dough of herbal powders is placed around the spine of the lower back that looks like a small dam. Warm medicated oils are poured in the dam & kept for a while to give a soothing experience. A series of these therapies are amazingly beneficial and relax the total body.
